More About Me

I am a committed advocate for mental health and well-being.

My Story

Adam Williamson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a nationally certified counselor. He has worked in the field of mental health therapy since 2004. In addition to therapy, Adam consults and works for hospitals doing suicide assessments, consultation, and as a designated examiner.  As a designated examiner, he provides front line assessments and direct court testimony. Adam follows the patient from the initial emergency room consultation to discharge.  He’s familiar with legal proceedings and has worked with dozens of county attorney’s, magistrates and public defenders.  In addition, Adam is a team member on a Regional School Suicide Response team in which he consults with school officials following a death in a school setting.  Because of his knowledge of the legal process, experience in both in-patient and outpatient settings, and specific suicide prevention training, Adam is considered an
expert in the field of mental health.
