SafeTALK is three-hour training can help you make a difference! This training alerts participants to the warning signs indicating a risk to potential suicide. The training emphasizes the importance of recognizing the signs, communicating with the person at risk and getting help or resources for the person at risk. This is very interactive training that has helped countless people become more suicide aware.  We have implemented this training across the county as planned suicide prevention initiative with great success. Now, both Teton County Wyoming and Teton County Idaho are using SafeTalk as the preferred suicide prevention training. SafeTALK is very affordable and CEU’s are available.

Quotes from actual participants

“I thought this training was very helpful. I learned to be direct and not to be afraid to ask questions. It also helped me to be aware of “invitations” of suicide and suicidal thoughts.”

M. Jensen

“Very informative and I feel more confident in talking with my mentally ill clients about suicidal thoughts.”

“Like sex, suicide needs to be discussed to help children and others to be unafraid to get help and avoid negative connotations associated with the topic. I will go and share with everyone I know! Thanks!”
