SPAN did a tremendous job again this year with their annual conference. I can’t say enough about those folks who continue to fight to stop suicide around the state. Idaho has many very dedicated individuals who work tirelessly attempting to improve the quality of life for those suffering and reducing the likelihood of suicide in your town. This year, we were fortunate enough to listen to Dr. Thomas Joiner (world renown suicidologist) discuss his new book “The perversion of Virtue, Understanding Murder-Suicide.” This was the second time I have seen Dr. Joiner and I was able to “rub elbows” with him at the end of day two which was awesome. Thanks to all that put together the conference and hope to see you all again next year.
