The Teton Valley Mental Health Coalition once again hosted Dr. Barrett and the Center for Change for a four hour long training in Victor Idaho. The Center for Change invited me to participate in their yearly conference for professionals in January. It was their 5th annual national conference and it didn’t disappoint. Speakers were carefully chosen from across the United States with the same basic theme: “The art of Individualizing Care: Crafting and mixing the best treatments available, one patient at a time.” Speakers including Jessica Setnick, Norman Kim, Kristin Francis, Nicole Hawkins, Rhonda O’Brien, Andrew Walen and Beth Hartman McGilley, shared personal stories and gave practical examples regarding the treatment of eating disorders. It was truly a one of kind training and hands down, the best conference I have ever been to! Huge thanks to my favorite speaker and co-founder of the Center for Change, Dr. Michael Berrett....
